Advanced battle rope exercises

Battle rope exercises are an excellent option for position and burn up getting fit and powerful! Battle ropes are typically long, heavy ropes that can be waved and slammed to challenge your entire body. Using battle ropes works out the arms, shoulders, legs and core (your tummy area). Double Wave Snake: This exercise requires moving both of your arms in a snake-like fashion. This means the ropes will be a continuous wave. Exercise No. 2: A great muscle-building stretch for your shoulders, your back and your tummy muscles.

Advanced Techniques for Maximum Results

Alternating Thrust: This exercise involves thrusting one arm forward, then thrusting the other forward. This pushing/pulling action forces your biceps and triceps to work a lot harder, resulting in a more strenuous workout.

The Lateral Shuffle is another fun and effective exercise to try. For this exercise, do a side shuffle as you move the ropes up and down like waves. This also strengthens your legs, glutes and core muscles, providing a solid full-body workout.
