The rope wave exercise is perfect if you are looking to have some fun getting fit and healthy. This fun workout allows you to develop balance, strengthen your core and get your heart racing all at once. In addition, it’s also a great way to firm up those muscles and take your body to some new extremes.
Wave rope exercise which basically takes a long heavy rope/kettlebell and creates an interesting wave like movement. This special movement also demands that your core muscles are strong and You will soon feel not just stronger, but also know your movement is more coordinated by doing this exercise regularly.
To begin the cargo net, first grab the rope with both hands. Make sure to stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, meaning your feet are sitting roughly as far apart as your shoulders. Your leg should be helping you stay balanced, so use them to keep your body supported.
Something a bit more challenging and super fun to try is the “snake” wave. For this exercise, you move both of your arms in a wave-like motion while stepping forward and back with your feet. This exercise is a full body workout but especially targets your core and upper body muscles. Not only is it a great workout, it is also a fun way to push your boundaries!
It’s also an awesome method of switching your workout up so you don’t become bored. At home, in the backyard or at the park, all you need to get started is a wave rope and a bit of space. Or you could run in place while making waves with the rope or do jumping jacks with the rope between your jumps, for example.
